Entry criteria

Applicants must meet both the standard entry requirements and the individual course requirements. 

Standard Entry Requirements: 

6 GCSEs grades 9-4 including either GCSE English Language or English Literature (Level 2 Vocational qualifications at Merit or Distinction will be treated as equivalent to 1 GCSE) .

All post-16 students without a grade 4 or above in GCSE English and/or maths are required to continue studying these subjects. Ongoing study is essential for academic progression and a condition of government funding, ensuring key skills for future success.
