Year 13 STEM students visited CERN in Geneva, Switzerland
BackYear 13 STEM students visited CERN in Geneva, Switzerland in September.
They were fortunate to be there as the labs released its latest findings on Antimatter and its properties.
As part of the visit, they toured the Antimatter factory and saw where these groundbreaking experiments are taking place, alongside meeting the scientists responsible.
Students also saw the linear and ion accelerators in action, learning more about how information from the LHC is being used. Our thanks goes to Mike Pickard for organising such a unique and illuminating experience for our students.
